@dkaysette @vilyessechler @atensnut At the African American museum in DC there’s a massive pile of more than 600 bricks, one to represent each of Thomas Jefferson’s slaves (he owned more than anyone else, and impregnated a lot of them.) Whitney Plantation in Louisiana also preserves stories of slavery.
