@BrendanRMarks So I don't get this. You choose to allow players (who you recruited) to transfer out so you can *try* to bring other players in and hope they pan out, all in support of yet another player who may be amazing, but is only going to be there one year anyway? And then what?

So trust that Jon Scheyer has a plan, like Hubert Davis did. Once the smoke clears, it'll all make sense. Now he has flexibility to enact what he wants. But winning is what matters most, especially when you only have one season with Cooper Flagg — who, yes, is *THAT* good.

Lot of responses already, so I'll THREAD this: I get being frustrated b/c you don't get to see guys "develop" over time. But... that isn't a uniquely Duke issue. Every fan base in CBB has the same complaint. Lower-level programs hate seeing their guys up-transfer, for example.

@BrendanRMarks That is a disingenuous question. There is no roster continuity any longer, no ‘Brotherhood’, no possibility of developing players. Of course it’s disappointing.

I see a lot of Duke fans upset about the number of players entering the transfer portal. Why? Serious question. Would love to hear some of what fans are thinking, so I can hopefully help it make sense.
