@Mrbobo79 The bottom line is that @reachlang failed to deliver on building the DEV tooling and attracting developers over to #Algorand. Thus, @AlgoFoundation decided to pull their funding and move forward with #AlgoKit, which was the right move.

I will also arrange a Twitter space in the coming days open to all the community members, so we can hear the sentiment from the broader community.
As a disclosure, I am doing this independent of Algorand Foundation, Algorand, Inc, or any other entities. This is purely a way for me to hear the community's voice and pave way for their frustrations and recommendations to be heard by the board members and for necessary actions to be taken. My intention is to keep the process simple, straightforward, and transparent.

It is interesting to read all the comments in this Twitter thread. To answer the question here and a few other tweets, there is no issue with our relationship with the @AlgoFoundation and also there is no disagreement between @borderless_cap and Algorand Foundation. Running a Foundation for a Blockchain ecosystem is extremely hard, and I have a lot of respect for everyone there. Most of the community members are concerned with some of the actions taken by the Algorand Foundation and the outcome. Rather than blaming the Algorand Foundation or any specific individuals, let us focus on solving the biggest problems we have at hand. I believe that collectively the community can devise the right solution. The biggest problem to solve is how we can make the Algorand ecosystem and tech relevant for developers and market participants and valuable for users. @Algorand has a great community; most AlgoFam members are good and very loyal. Algorand has the best tech, and we have some excellent leaders in both Algorand, Inc and Algorand Foundation. I have been associated with the Algorand ecosystem since 2018 and have seen the dynamics from the very beginning of the formation of the Algorand Foundation and also the change in leadership and approach. Having invested in nearly 200 companies from Borderless within the Algorand ecosystem, I understand the pain points of the builders and their expectations as well. Remember, none of us are perfect, and building a decentralized organization with proper governance is a big challenge. Everyone in the crypto ecosystem is still figuring out how to build a borderless nation (layer 1 protocols), and we are evolving to becoming a genuinely decentralized Organization. This is not just an Algorand ecosystem problem. Every other Layer 1 native token except Ethereum and its L2 Polygon dropped more than 90% from ATH during this bear market. There are 500+ entrepreneurs who built applications in the Algorand ecosystem. Let us bring all the key builders and key community members together. Let them work collectively and get the change the community deserves. I look at my role as a contributor/facilitator to this community and do my part to help steer the ecosystem in the right direction.
