@stackerco @pimomormon From there, it is really looking at church history and the inconsistencies in doctrine over the years.
The clincher for me though was polygamy when you examine the truth. I could no longer give special pleading to Joseph and had to reassess my 'testimony' of the prophet. /2

The way the church fumbles sexual abuse cases did me in. Book of Abraham is a footnote for me
For others it isn’t. I don’t think it’s for us to tell people to second guess the issues they had with the church.
