During our engagement with officials from the Ministry of Water & Environment, I tasked the officials to explain whether Stabex Rubigi in Nansana is in a wetland or not. After some explanation that wasn't adding up, the Minister of State for Environment Hon Beatrice Anywar finally admitted that its in a wetland. I stated it clearly that its unfair when we apply the law selectively, and in most cases favoring the rich against the poor. As a Committe of @Parliament_Ug on Environment & Natural Resources, we shall be tough on environmental degradation specifically on wetlands, forests & lakes. This is Kisanja no more sleep!
