3 days have passed since the 'non- handshake incident' and Virat Kohli has still not made a public apology to Travis Head.
I don't agree with the 'heat of the moment' as an excuse. There is a reason why we have the courtesy end of the game hand shakes to respect our beautiful game.
In that period his third rate fans have gone on to give rape threats to Travis Head's wife and make all sort of derogatory and vile comments on his page. Things have gone so much bad that Jessica Head had to come out and give a public statement about how she and her husband have had to go through. Not the first time such an incident has happened.
There are some shameless Kohli fans who are even defending him for the 'non- handshake' incident and even right now are spamming Head and his wife's post. There is a limit to shamelessness.
Virat Kohli might be a legendary cricketer but his conduct on the field is he acts as if someone who has some kind of mental illness and for that he needs immediate help. He needs therapy at this point.

Rohit's PR is activated on social media to defame King Kohli whereas rohit himself had a poor IPL 2026 with a duck in his last inning. Same goes for dhoni fans as well.

Having 2-3 months of Winter is far better than always living in 40⁰ hot and humid weather of mumbai where sweating doesn't stop. Mumbai's summers are totally unbearable with too much humidity and smell coming from polluted beaches

South Delhi will always outmog every district in India because urban luxury is not just malls or real estate prices, it is tree cover, shaded streets, wide roads, walkability and transit access. Walked nearly 10 km today from Hauz Khas to Vasant Kunj post leg day via Qutub Institutional Area and you can literally feel the temperature drop under the tree canopy. Cool breeze, shaded corridors and surprisingly continuous sidewalks across most stretches except parts of Katwaria Sarai & Masoodpur urban villages. Delhi’s ridge and green cover reduce local surface temperatures by 2-5°C in several pockets. This is exactly why Indian cities need aggressive urban afforestation and shaded pedestrian infra to fight the urban heat island effect in a tropical climate. Its simple, More trees = cooler cities, lower artificial ventilation demand, healthier walking environments and better public transit usage.

Virat Kohli is being unnecessarily Trolled on Social Media
-People have been targeting Virat Kohli for not shaking hands and over the statement made by Travis Head’s wife
-First of all, the argument between Kohli and Travis Head happened on the field, and such moments are common in sports
-As for not shaking hands after the match, that can happen in the heat of the moment. If two players argue during a game, it is not necessary that everything becomes normal immediately after it ends.
-There is no clear right or wrong here. Competitive sports are emotional.
-And regarding the comments on Travis Head’s wife’s statement, immature fans often overreact online. That does not automatically make Kohli wrong.
-Also, not every hateful comment necessarily comes from Kohli fans; some people may simply want to defame him
The people constantly targeting Kohli are either jealous of him or simply frustrated because their own team failed to reach the playoffs

SM is a vicious space. Anybody, claiming to be a propagator of an intangible cause, can create a ruckus of this magnitude.
Players’ PR teams, often family members/parents, have also started indulging in pay-and-spew-venom model. Keep an eye out!

Reading the Travis Head story on online trolling and abuse. Feel sorry for him and his family.
But where’s the surprise?
X is nothing but a glorified gutter (unlike Twitter).
The fuelling of this gutter is now a multi-million dollar business and is seen as a vital industry arm to influence opinions and push narratives.
But then there’s nothing that people don’t know already.
The important bit right now is for Travis and his family to know this is not how the average cricket fan in India sees the Australian cricket stars.
India adores Australian cricket and those who wear the Aussie colours.
Heck, India has strived the last 40 years to be the next Australia on the cricket field.
Let this incident not be the poster of India-Australia relations please. The real fans and followers are better than this.
