@markdalgleish Any info on the ‘custom’ token? Does it generates styles at runtime? Can it be mapped to responsive array? Or is it just An in-line style?

Currently extending our custom token API to layout components. I like this because it encourages the use of standard scale values, while still allowing you to step outside the system, but with an explicit, type safe and easily searchable API that also discourages its use.

@markdalgleish Is that 24px generated static or dynamic? How would that look with vanilla-extract? Is it just the key name for that value rather than some multiple like space={6} ?

With this Columns component API, I really like the balance of expressiveness versus customisation. It really covers a *lot* of use cases while keeping the API pretty high level.

@theavalkyrie The hard part for me was never understanding how they work or what they do. It’s how the things around them affect their operation, degeneration, cascode, feedback, freq response, etc

@theavalkyrie Doesn’t assume you’re a beginner, doesn’t assume you’re an expert. Never thought I’d get BJTs and FETs…still don’t, but I’m better off than I was

@oliverjumpertz I wouldn't let this past a code review. Just do: if (condition) func(); That says what it means. Using && instead might trip up less experienced folk, and that might make you feel smart, but ugh.
