@rustyrockets The statement commits a fallacy by presupposing a zero-sum focus; public discourse is spacious, allowing for the coexistence of varied and complex concerns. Another Russel oversimplification to get more attention.

The legacy media are more concerned about Donald Trump making an off-the-cuff comment about Canada becoming a 51st state rather than the fact that the Biden administration has authorized the use of long-range missiles inside of Russia.

@lexfridman There’s a lot wrong with this. The idea of interviewing Putin assumes you’ll get real answers. Giving him a platform isn’t about understanding—it’s about risk. It risks amplifying lies and control. Not all perspectives are equal, and some don’t lead to peace.

I hope to interview both Zelenskyy and Putin, likely in January. For this, I will travel to both Kyiv and Moscow. My hope is to do my small part to understand their perspectives & to find the path to peace. I understand the risks. PS: I speak fluent Russian & some Ukrainian

People 30,000 years ago probably had words for "day," "month," and "year," but not "week"—because unlike the others, weeks are arbitrary inventions with no connection to the natural world.

If you’ve had solar installed in South Africa, please provide recommendations below on installation company, financing model, equipment etc. It seems most people don’t know where to start. I don’t own my own place so don’t have any first-hand experience either. Thanks 🙏

Modern soccer developed in England in the mid-1800s. Basketball was invented in 1891. Ice hockey started in Montreal in 1875. American football dates to the late-1800s. Modern baseball started in the mid-1800s. Rugby started in 1845. What was everyone playing 200 years ago?

Girls should bring up ASTRONOMY on a first date. Not because it’s a deeply fascinating topic, but because it self-identifies men who are curious, intelligent, and capable of entertaining profound philosophical conversation.

Girls should bring up astrology on a first date. Not because it’s an accurate measure of compatibility, but because it self-identifies men who are arrogant, condescending, and incapable of entertaining opinions they disagree with.

Well, I guess that casts the light on Twitter ➡️Elon Musk’s political preferences. Ukraine out. Russia in.
UNITED24 Media@United24media

Hey @elonmusk, it seems like it's no longer possible to have a Ukrainian number verify a Twitter account/two-factor authentication. Ukraine is not in your list of countries, see our screenshot. It's vital for us to keep showing the world what's going on in our country.

3/3 When people feel a lack of control in their own lives, they turn to fantasy figures or escapist outlets to regain a sense of power and ego strength. And here Elon Musk found his place to shine.
