It’s almost time for the Senate to resume consideration of the SAVE America Act On a scale of one to ten, how much do you want the Senate to keep debating the bill—as long as it takes—until it passes?

Hey X— It’s been great getting to know so many of you over the past ~14 months. This platform is a wild place. I’ve enjoyed it more than I expected… even if it’s cost me a few late nights doom-scrolling while my wife watches her dance shows. That said—I’m about to announce a major capital raise for my finance company. And when I’m in build mode, I go all in. It’s a bit of a superpower, but it means cutting out anything non-essential—including social media. So for the foreseeable future, I’ll be deleting X off my phone. I’ll still stay engaged politically and look forward to seeing many of you at the Republican Convention. If you need to reach me, email works: brad@bonco.com Wishing you all health, happiness, and continued momentum. Keep up the good fight.

Excited for @DataRepublican report on MWEG! You asked for it, you got it!
DataRepublican (small r)@DataRepublican

Mormon Women for Ethical Government (@mormonweg) is quite upset that I dedicated a presentation to them to a Utahn Republican Women's group. They called it "absolutely false." I don't know what they are alleging is false, like Bill Kristol is among their biggest donors (as @labtechleigh found), or that their co-executive director Jen Thomas represents MWEG in a meeting series as part of a fractal ecosystem to transform America's governance. But in the spirit of last year's thread on @CODEPINK , I will do a 100% factual, zero opinion, receipt-based thread on MWEG to clear the air. As MWEG said - "be kind, but be direct." 💕💕💕💕

This is a rural brick kiln in South Asia. Guy in beige is using the spinning flywheel of a running diesel engine like a giant grinder to shape/cut a long wooden pole (smoke & dust flying). Crew's casually rolling tractor tires around the yard like a game while the tall chimney fires up with thick black smoke. Pure improvised chaos! 😂

My favorite album of all time, Depeche Mode's Black Celebration, was released 40 years ago today - March 17, 1986. Considered one of the finest synth-pop / industrial / darkwave albums ever made, it marked the moment Depeche Mode embraced a darker, more sophisticated, gothic-leaning sound. Many describe it as their creative coming-of-age: richer textures, industrial percussion, brooding atmospheres, and a cohesive mood that feels cinematic & immersive. Unlike albums built around a few big singles, Black Celebration presents a front-to-back experience with almost no filler. Tracks like the title song, "A Question of Lust," "Stripped” (my favorite of all time), “Fly on the Windscreen," & “But Not Tonight" create a unified dark, sexy, desperate world exploring lust, alienation, corruption, mortality, & the search for real connection. It is danceable darkness that still feels cutting-edge 40 years later. I love that it directly inspired major acts (Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails cited it as a key influence on Pretty Hate Machine) & launched the band's legendary four-album run (Black Celebration → Music for the Masses → Violator → Songs of Faith and Devotion), which many regard as one of the strongest creative streaks in modern music. For many longtime fans like me, it's the most indispensable Depeche Mode album, even over the more commercially massive Violator. The increased presence of Martin Gore's vulnerable lead vocals, Dave Gahan's most expressive singing to that point, and the bleak-yet-hopeful romanticism hit deeply. Some call it the moment the band became "serious artists" rather than just hit-makers. On my wall is the original vinyl from 1986, signed by all members of the band. A true keepsake.

@BrandonFugal And the tour that it spawned began with my favourite ever gig intro by anybody... Christmas Island. I recall being right at the front, the lights going out and this piece of music that was yet to be released at that point starting up and... wow! Peak Depeche

Democrats have put forward a bill to fund TSA that Republicans rejected. Republicans hope that if they can keep enough Americans hostage in long security lines, that Democrats will break and ICE will get all the money it needs to kill more innocent Americans.
Clay Travis@ClayTravis

Look at the security lines in Austin this morning. It’s insane that Democrats have shut down TSA pay while there are terror attacks happening at a 20 year high. Indefensible, honestly.

Someone could be in your blind spot on the highway drifting into your lane at 70mph and you’d likely not see it coming. FSD will literally never not see it coming. ever. Every single time forever. When you realize things like this and get used to knowing them as true, you feel a certain level of naked when manually driving. Because you are. You just didn’t realize before because it’s normal.
