@jakonrath Gotta admire a guy who shows Death how to do eternity righteously while barely breaking a sweat. Here's to your next act, Chuck Norris!

Chuck Norris didn't die. He chose to go to the Underworld to roundhouse-kick Death in the face for all eternity. When he decides eternity is over, Chuck Norris will return.

@BookSpotlight You mean it’s not just a time, effort, money, and sanity black hole? Dang. Bubble bursted.

Regrettably, I must confirm that marketing my books frequently does, in fact, result in more sales 🫠

@Kel7Green This. For sure. You could toss in: marketing the finished book = desperation to smash all those words down into a concise and compelling enticement The Word Fu for writers never ends. Ever.

@Lizzie_Chantree Exactly! As an alternative, I like to think I can at least make people coffee though. 🙂

Based on the barrage of come-ons I’m getting, quite a number of famous authors, publishers, and editors have themselves dirt simple gmail addresses these days. Who knew? 🤷‍♂️ Oh and StephenKing592 at gmail.com I’ll be getting back to you real soon. 🤞

@LaylaHawke2 Again! In fact, this seems to be a disturbing pattern that has developed over the years. It’s purr-fectly troubling this continues.

@yesjimstheman Besides its glorious vistas tempting me to linger, Skye also is the home of Talisker, my favorite single malt distiller. *sigh* I should probably just relocate there to finish out my days in eternal bliss.

@TheCleftonTwain LOL My wife once volunteered to dice the ingredients for a 6 pepper chili recipe we intended to use for a cook-off. It taught her 2 things: 1) the time to don gloves is before your skin absorbs capsaicin, and 2) stop volunteering to do anything for chili cook-offs.

@DzintraSullivan And why is it that things better left unsaid are always the things that can’t be unheard? Whose brilliant idea was that??

Some things are better left unsaid. Of course I usually don't realize that until I've already said it. Morning guys #Z

@SusanSavageLee1 @graspfire I find it challenging to switch between them, like when I’m juggling multiple WIPs. It’s a bumpy paradigm shift for sure. But once I recalibrate, I seem to be able to settle back into the groove fairly quickly.

Do you feel just as confident writing in first-person as in third? I used to think that third was my strength, but first is starting to grow on me #writingq #WritingCommunity

@writer_paula @yesjimstheman Normandy was absolutely overwhelming and humbling. Helpful too, in terms of my renewed appreciation for so many who sacrificed so much. It was also encouraging to see how today’s generations were uplifting, and carrying on from, that legacy.

@dark_opus @yesjimstheman I feel these places may be too much to take. I did see the Somme as a kid and it was devastating. All that pain and death….

So how long do we tell ourselves the little white lie of what time it really is? In our household it can go up to a week.

@writer_paula @yesjimstheman Still standing as of last fall though I wouldn't recommend attempting to drive on them. With or without cargo. 🙂 Would highly recommend a visit to Arromanches and the surrounding French countryside. Enlightening, emotional, lovely, sobering and so much more.

@rowlands_laws @king_reinhardt Adulting is one of those things that just keeps getting harder as time goes on. Having fun while at it is part of the antidote.

Adults are allowed to have fun. Play video games. Read sci-fi and fantasy. Watch horror movies. Buy superhero comic books. And if anyone tells you otherwise, tell them to grow up.
