I got absolutely rekt by Goldfinch @goldfinch_fi These idiots mismanaged over $50M of our money. Out of 8 borrowers - 2 are in default and 6 in restructuring. Basically money is gone. 1st time I deposited in Sep 2021, then 2 more times in 2022. It's been fucking five years and I still haven't got my money back in full (and never will), let alone the promised 10% APY. Dashboard on their website says total loss rate is 20% but in reality its closer to 70% now. Since I requested the withdrawal in August 2023 I received only 30% of my money back. Best case scenario is I get another 10% over the next 1-2 years. They hired a CRO with a $400k yearly salary who is posting updates twice per month in discord and thats about it. Occasionally they may request $50k - $150k for various other needs. All this money is being taken from the treasury of course. CT doesn't know about it yet but Goldfinch is closing down soon. There is "wind down" announcement posted in discord, soon it will be public. Their official twitter page is run by a reply bot anyway so who cares anyway. $GFI token is -99% and imo will be delisted sooner or later because project is dead. Prime example of how fragile DeFi can be.

Launchpads can stop duplicate tokens
They should enable name and ticker level protection to help prevent lazy copycat launches.
Once a creator launches a token called STOP on a platform, if another creator tries to use the same name and ticker, the system should alert them that it’s already taken.
If launchpads implement this, duplicate tokens will be reduced and we’ll get more original names and tickers.

pretty much throwing ur entire community out the door and falling into the “cabal” trap- hoping for degens off a bump and dino nuggets to pump ur token with the 100k in liq that is being touched in the trenches
not to mention you lose your holder count and chart from the OG pool- and risk delistings everywhere
have not talked about micro caps in a while- but i can say that this is not the smart thing to do, and if you think you’re gonna get support from @Pumpfun and @Jakegallen ofc you are!

@cryptomania4L Bruh what kind of waffle is this, devs change their deployer every launch most of the time. Only devs spamming narratives don't change it and in that case it doesn't matter. This has to be the most useless waste of advice ever

How to know if a dev has rugged before.
Most rug devs don’t disappear.
They just launch another token.
Because everything onchain is public, you can actually verify their history before buying.
Here’s what to check:
• Open the deployer wallet on Solscan or Axiom and review past tokens they launched
• If several previous tokens went to zero shortly after launch, that’s a strong warning sign
• Look for liquidity patterns. If liquidity was pulled or never locked in previous projects, that’s classic rug behavior
• Check early transactions. If the same insider wallets always buy first and dump later, it’s likely coordinated
• Review how many projects the wallet has launched. Rug devs often deploy multiple tokens in short periods
• Watch for abandoned tokens where the dev disappeared after the first pump
• Check if smart wallet are holding using Moby
This doesn’t guarantee you won’t get rugged.
But checking the deployer history reduces your chances of walking into an obvious trap.
