Marine Veteran, Father, Generally unpleasant and stubborn. Distrust people in power no matter who they are, DM's will likely be ignored.

@CallMeK1123 I'd buy her beer so I could hear more pretty little lies. Sometimes it's nice to forget the truth and live in denial a little.

@Oilfield_Rando Very true but with the single ply toilet paper that is 800 grit I'll happily keep a pack of dude wipes in my desk. We're lucky when the toilets actually flush so forget about bidets.

People who trash talk bidets will use Dude wipes. Those are baby wipes. You’re using baby wipes, for babies, changing the word “baby” to “dude” doesn’t magically change that fact

@thesucklife 4067 small system programmer for the Marines. I wanted infantry but I went and aced the ASVAB and my recruiter told me infantry was full so I became a chair-born ranger, keyboard commando. Apparently recruiters get bonus points for hard to fill MOS slots.

What was your MOS and did you choose it or was it chosen for you based on recruiter, test scores, or other? I wanted to be a radioman. My recruiter told me I was needed in Aviation, Supply, Support, and Anti-Air Warfare. I said “Ok Gunny”.

The fact that government officials were using a non-government communication network to conduct official business was the same thing we all screamed about Clinton doing but I guess when it's team Trump the same rules don't apply. I have to wonder what other official business is being done in a manner that avoids FOIA.

If Mike Waltz had just admitted the truth from the start -- I had Jeffrey Goldberg's contact saved in my phone and accidentally put him in our war plan group -- it would have been a one-day story. Instead, we're getting an endless series of insultingly false excuses:
System Update@systemupdate_

Mike Waltz told Laura Ingraham that Jeffrey Goldberg's number got magically "sucked in" to the chat and insisted he did not have the anti-Trump journalist's contact information in his phone... @ggreenwald on the Signal chat leak fallout:

@pdsprandel I'd fry the damn battery in under an hour. They would need a 220 volt version for a Marine and we'd still find a way to break it, lose it or find a way to heat MRE's with it

@mindfulmaven_ There were a few nights I did sleep hungry but it was my own fault for turning my nose up to what mom made for dinner. I'd give a lot to have her back and taste her cooking again no matter what it was.

@ScottAdamsSays You seem to be confusing DOGE with Congress. DOGE can't cut any spending, not one cent. They can only move spending from waste they disagree with to waste that's favourable to the current administration.

If the DOGE team succeeds in reducing government spending to a survivable level, history books will not complain that it was too much chainsaw and not enough scalpel.

There's this thing called the Constitution. It sort of prevents the intelligence agencies from domestic spying. Do you really think they're going to admit they are breaking the law over something like this? Every act of terrorism against the public allows them to offer more protection at the cost of your rights. Remember everything Trump does now will be available for the next administration, choose wisely.

Question for @DOGE - why do we have a NSA surveillance program and a massive data center in Bluffdale, Utah collecting Internet traffic, when it is obviously useless with tracking domestic terrorists?

@AceAmory123 The rim tells me it's normally a revolver cartridge. I'm going to go with .44 magnum. It looks thicker than .357 but without a size reference I could be wrong. I guess it could also be 45 colt as well.

Here’s a social experiment I recently ran on X: These two posts from me are identical in every way but one. Same subject, similar circumstances, less than three months apart. But the engagement—especially the replies—couldn’t be more different. Can you spot the difference?

@junogsp7 @DOGE Look at the companies that received those contracts and cross-reference them with political donations to Congress to find your answer. In five years, when half the DoD budget is still spent on contracts, you'll know why it won't change.

Shocking @DOGE discovery ! Nearly half of the entire 2022 Dept of Defense budget was spent on military contractors . Why was most of this work not handled internally with existing personnel and the $400 billion preserved for national defense ?
Red Line News@RedLineNewsUSA

In 2022, the DoD spent over $400 Billion on military contractors, nearly half of entire budget. Why are we so reliant on private contractors for services that could be performed by active-duty personnel at a much lower cost? Should we stop using so many private contractors?

@Mappy6984 so rather than make a good piece of steak taste like a pickle... why not eat a pickle and let the steak taste like steaks. that is not much different than covering a steak in A1 so you can't taste the meat.
