Can an economist explain how scalping is even possible?
If you can buy a $50 product and immediately resell it for $100, then the company selling it at $50 is clearly leaving money on the table.

@christisking264 All the food is low nutrition and making us unhealthy. People are also stressed and end up putting on weight they shouldn't. Poptarts have gotten thinner, actual produce is outta sight, and recipies can't even use stock sizes due to shrinkage.

The observation that WW2 was the final nail in the coffin for the British Empire is, I would say, objectively true at least from a Realist perspective.
However, if your takeaway from this observation is that the UK should have allowed Hitler to take over the Continent unopposed and not that Hitler is at fault for starting WW2, then you are not a Realist, but a Nazi.

Nuclear power plants supply power using clean energy and jobs.
Data centers take up an enormous amount of space and suck up energy, sometimes offloading the cost onto the community AND the jobs they create vanish as soon as they're constructed and are staffed by a handful of people. And they're not benefitting the economy in any way either afaik
