Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

@BasicIncomePoC Current war spending and the wars themselves are the result of automation. People don't know what to do and choose the military. Not everyone prefers Texas Hold'em. And we will still be controlled by Wall Street, but in a more efficient way for them.

@darmin1OO So trillions in military spending is acceptable while you get jacksquat? All this tech innovation came from PUBLIC Research & govt subsidies! Or is it better that wall street controls it ALL! Your okay with federal min wage at 7.25 hr for 50 yrs? Are you insane or a little rascal

@cb_doge @elonmusk So start it now, you could issue a small amount for a limited list of goods just to test. Though it already scares me because I don't want something limited.

“We'll have universal high income. We're basically just issuing money to people, and just because the output of Business Services will so far exceed the money supply, that effectively you have deflation, because deflation is just the ratio of the outputs of goods and services to the money supply. If the rate of growth of goods and services exceeds the rate of growth of the money supply, which I predict will happen, then you will have deflation.” - Elon Musk

Again, the AI rally is over. In recent months, it was only about adding different use cases to the same core, e.g., ChatGPT Translator (just a prompt), new sub tier, desktop apps, and better system integration. > But what happened with Claude today is shocking af Their announcement abstract details speak for themselves. Anthropic slowed down the Opus 4.6 version just to make Opus 4.7 seem better. Though now it’s more appropriate to use 4.61 minor versions, but they just can’t. It’s dangerous. Now it’s more about money > human prosperity Also, they are planning to add age verification or even KYC. I believe it’s a common stage after exponential growth; you optimize what you build. - - - Though it’s not related to open-source LLMs. Which potential isn’t yet discovered. They make huge progress day-by-day.

Introducing Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable Opus model yet. It handles long-running tasks with more rigor, follows instructions more precisely, and verifies its own outputs before reporting back. You can hand off your hardest work with less supervision.

Was asked a few times why launch OCT at the worst possible time. It is not about the market or runway, mostly about technical readiness. We were ready and had to distribute and burn the remaining OCT to start onboarding validators and upgrading to mainnet beta. Pic unrelated.

«AI is future!» — i’m sure you are tired of hearing this. or a financial bubble — this also comes up. > so what is it? 🤔 in my opinion, it’s both: the former in the long term, the latter in the short term. the reason is that current AI is just not what we think it is. let’s compare natural and artificial neurons. > artificial a mathematical function that takes numbers as input, multiplies them by weights, adds them, and converts the result through an activation function, producing an output value. it's a very smart calculator 📟 > natural a living nerve cell that continuously develops and adapts, receiving signals from other neurons through synapses, processing them, and, when sufficiently stimulated, transmitting an electrical impulse along the neural network it's fully autonomous 🧠 --- this architecture difference is very significant so it would require demolishing a skyscraper down to its foundation and rebuilding everything! that’s why i’m happy about the future, but not the nearest one. and if you don’t believe the bubble will burst, then just remember previous crises you would never think would happen. stay safe, manage risks. 🫂

WhatsApp’s “E2E encryption by default” claim is a giant consumer fraud: ~95% of private messages on WhatsApp end up in plain-text backups on Apple/Google servers — not E2E-encrypted. Backup encryption is optional, and few people enable it — let alone use strong passwords.
