@DomainDead That's the point. There's no "war on the traditional family", but the incels think there is because *they* can't start one. There are real societal issues behind this beyond personal failure, just not the ones they think (atomization, etc).

It's incredibly difficult to get AI to say anything controversial. The people killing themselves because an LLM allegedly said so had to have spent multiple hours a day every day for weeks or months to break the things so comprehensively. They also would have killed themselves anyway. A nine year old is not in danger speaking to an LLM. It's fair to say a nine year old shouldn't do anything unsupervised, but LLMs are better than watching TV alone.

I’m sure these parents have some ideological beliefs id find annoying but that doesn’t change the fact that if you let a 9 year old talk to a chatbot you should be in jail

It would only make sense for him to do this scheme if arresting Netanyahu was his #1 priority as prime minister (it isn't).

I was really quite looking forward to resuming my normal routine of not paying attention to Hungary, once Orban got ousted. But the new guy is currently running a marathon of doxxing every asshole who's ever got Putin's money laundered through Budapest.

@actsmaniac As a Hungarian leftist, I would say there's a difference. Moderate dems have nowhere near the ferocity that Magyar has. Always a better choice than fascists, but they let the problem fester. (See Biden -> Trump 2)

If Hungarian leftists can manage to vote for Peter Magyar, then american leftists should also be able to vote for Newsom or Shapiro or whoever

Hungary: Feels surreal to say, but Orban may actually get ousted. Pattern of his extreme behavior indicates he is losing control. He will try to cheat in the election. I don't know if there's a scenario where he will go away peacefully because prison most certainly awaits him.

@Roxanna_Daria @JayinKyiv Not exactly pro-Ukraine. The government's anti-Ukraine rhetoric has been very effective, so TISZA is trying to distance themselves from the issue (e.g. they voted against fast-track EU membership). They are quite openly anti-Russia though.

Totally ignored by western media, some of the largest protests in Hungary's history just occurred. The Russian-backed Orban regime has a total media blackout on it for a reason.
