Our new @AGSJournal study detailing the annual prevalence and disparities in tube feeding among Canadian nursing home residents with advanced dementia: agsjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/jg…
Overall, the prevalence was low and declined between 2006 and 2022.
There was a higher prevalence among men, non-English and non-French language-speaking individuals, and residents of larger nursing homes situated in urban areas and lower-income neighborhoods.

We @BDG talked about where Big Ideas come from, and thought I'd share:
1. Keep an open note for Big Ideas, and review it. Opening a note is an intention, and self-reinforces that you have good ideas.
2. Make time for situations where your mind can run in positive directions without distraction .... walking , exercising, meditating, cooking.
3. Take risks on some of those Big Ideas. Some will work out really well. Taking risks is a big part of our role in a public academic institution - You're missing the point if you don't try.
