We always look like we are a player short in the 1st and 2nd phase of play. Any tactical breakdown on this particular thing?

You can’t go for an extra man somewhere without affecting another place exp when we don’t have destroyers or work horses in midfield. Ps. Szobs is bad at tackling so we can use him as one too. Omo

Arne Slot was criticised for being too attacking at the start of this season. He ends it being criticised for not being heavy metal enough. If you stop to ask *why* the playstyle is this way currently, you see issues beyond the coach. Most prefer not to ask.

@mcmulhar I understand this point here, but having too many bodies forward doesn’t necessarily mean we’re too attacking. It just shows we have a structure problem. I remember it very well against Bournemouth. The 4-2 win, remember it was in the closing stages we scored 2 goals

@daryleniola First three games of the season were 2-2, 4-2 and 3-2. Carragher confronted Slot directly about our style of play after the Bournemouth game. We were accused of being too attacking until November when we dropped Salah and went 13 games unbeaten playing boring football.

@OffTrack94 @JeremyUsbourne1 Many are title winners. We didn’t even have an injury crises this season. In fact our midfield (engine) has been healthy all season but they lack positional awareness, they don’t know how to tackle or press again. Szobs runs and no one covers the players. Marking space

@JeremyUsbourne1 You'd have a very valid point if, despite the injuries and some decisions etc, we were still playing some decent football, players were showing fight, his tactics, man management etc were clearly decent. He's not. He still has elite players all over the pitch looking utter shit

@JeremyUsbourne1 How many injuries have we had that derailed our season? All or defenders have been largely available bar Bradley and Leoni. Same with midfield and attack, bar Isak and now Ekitike. So, why can’t this squad perform? It’s not injury crises or bad players, many are title winners
