Biju Patnaik remains one of the tallest leaders of Odisha and the nation. As a freedom fighter, aviator and statesman, his life was anchored in “Nation First”. Everyone, old and young, know that he wore patriotism on his sleeves and always loved to lead from the front! When he passed away, his mortal remains were draped with the national flags of four countries, reflecting the respect he commanded internationally.
