The trend is clear with 4.7. Prices are going up, not down. You get higher quality slop but less quantity and less room for trial and error. Knowing what you’re doing is getting even more important.

Easiest email trick for a custom domain. Use iCloud and register your custom domain. You can add up to three email addresses on the domain, or 10 if you have a family plan. Completely free if you were already paying for iCloud+ anyways.

@datagobes It’s like a ladder over time it leads you to a point where you re paying more than you would to any person even though the quality is worse and the errors are more frequent

Claude Design is on a dedicated meter and it burns down in a couple of designs. Blink and it's gone for the week. Great output though.

I burned through my monthly included budget in a day because Vercel defaults to Turbo build machines. If you don't change your organization defaults in Settings > Build and Deployment after you go Pro, you will certainly run into this trap because every new project will start on Turbo.

Do not follow the amateur advice I see all over the place to set Claude to effort level max by default. You’re burning money and dimming the lights of a small town for no benefit.

@RIICommunity You don’t even really need mcp anymore. It’s convenient but not necessary and it adds tokens on every turn for all the loaded tools in the mcp server.

If you don’t want to get copied over a weekend here’s my two cents. Don’t go into a craft where you don’t have any expertise just because AI lets you generate plausible results. Figure out how to use AI in the areas where you already have expertise. Then partner with people if you are missing expertise somewhere. Don’t use AI to amplify your weaknesses, use it to amplify your strengths.
