Also Entschuldigung in der BRD gilt immer noch die Garagenverordnung womit Garagen laut Baugenehmigung nur dem Abstellen von Kraftfahrzeugen dienen dürfen.
Eine Bumsbude wie Apple in der Garage hochzuziehen erfordert offiziell eine genehmigungspflichtige Nutzungsänderung - und ohne Genehmigung stellt dies eine Ordnungswidrigkeit dar.

It could actually be a significant problem that Europe doesn't have enough garages. This sounds like a joke, but I'm serious. Garages let you work on stuff that doesn't matter yet, which is how big things often start. The outliers of ideas need the outliers of space.

That's true. People on the east also won't involve anybody if they see no/little impact on themselves or society.
Like if you see someone throwing the wrong garbage into the wrong tank - on the east nobody will care. In Germany you could be reported and people may even take the trash out of it

@igorhansachat @TweetsOfSumit It seems to me that in central eu people prefer to call the police to handle issues / in eastern europe it’s a bit different calling police it is useless or even risky so people tend to deal with problems themselves

@OskarWieckowicz additionally wanna say If there is competition, it means market alive and money is already moving, If there is no competition, there is usually nothing to take in 99% cases.
Your job is to step in where the customer is already losing money, time, control etc

One of the biggest lessons:
A few months ago I killed a 2-year-old platform that helped lawyers manage bookings and clients schedule online.
There were only a few weak competitors in the space. At the time I thought that was a great opportunity.
It wasn't.
Lesson:
Low competition is rarely a green light - especially in markets that have already existed for some time. It often means the problem isn't painful enough or the market is simply too small.
The only real exception is when a completely new market or technology is just emerging. In mature markets, weak competition is usually a warning sign, not an invitation.

Man, Swiss taxes are insane. I was playing with numbers, thinking how much to pay founding engineers and wondered about net income.
CHF 100k (~127k USD) translates into just CHF 12k taxes.
Not only that, but the government has a special website for citizens to calculate this.
