The more you know the more you realize you have no freaking idea. The first rule is there are no rules. The best answer to a question is another question.

@john_galt2000 @syedabishussai3 @ShaykhSulaiman I mean hamas, a terrorist group by definition, did throw the first punch. A sucker punch from behind in the night killing 1000+ by surprise. Stealing 100+ hostages without provacation. The whole world saw that too. Has Israel's revenge gone too far is the only true question?

@goreae @markaschryses @TheresaArueyin1 See that's probably the biggest mistake most skeptic make. Individual passages are never stand alone but to be taken with the whole breadth of scripture. What would the Holy Spirit say? Does it not also say whoever should harm a child would be better off drowning themself 1st?

The Gospel is not God hatefully saying, ‘Turn to Me or I’ll send you to hell.’ The Gospel is God’s mercy and grace saying, ‘You’re already on your way to hell, turn to Me, and I will save you.’

@goreae @markaschryses @TheresaArueyin1 You would need the Holy Spirit to help you understand the whole context of scripture verses taking individual passages as stand alone statements out of context, it also teaches anyone who even harms a child would be better of drowning themself with a milestone around their neck

@goreae @markaschryses @TheresaArueyin1 Firstly, what we are really talking about is should unrepentant sin equal death? Is that a fair punishment? Secondly, the punishment is unimaginably cruel by what metric and according to whose objective or subjective comparison? Yours? Mine? Or a all-knowing and perfect entity?

@dataonbothsides @markaschryses @TheresaArueyin1 Sure, but if a judge sentenced someone to death by torture for jaywalking, one would understandably think them to be unbelievably harsh and cruel. That's the problem. The punishment is unimaginably cruel for the relatively minor crime.

@notevenatwtuser @ArielleScarcell Noone is oppressing lgbtq in America for a long time. We can't make people individually agree or endorse but disagreement and refusal to endorse something aren't oppression.

@catturd2 Tucker would never make it out of a primary and I'm a big fan of his. When he gets manic he is insufferable lol but I still like him.

Tucker is batshit crazy now. At one time, he could’ve been in the conversation if he decided to run for President. Now, he’s just another boring doomer grifter that repeats the “it’s all the joooooos fault” broken record. He has zero influence. What a sad and pathetic fall from grace.

@cgp42 @Overreport369 My best friend Emmanuel has 2 theology degrees from St. Louis University and Loyola Chicago. He is a Navy champlain as well. So many theologians who don't have the Holy Spirit. Better to know him than just know about him. Even better both.

Why do people who have never read the Bible love to argue with people who have read the Bible? This isn’t a competition. People who have read the Bible merely share it with others. If you don’t wanna read it and you don’t want to take part of it you can keep scrolling. That’s what I do when I come across people who say that they are God.

@markaschryses @TheresaArueyin1 Not at all every single person has simple access to the same exoneration but your pride has to die first. Being proud is bad not good in Christianity because it is self focused verses God and others focus. We are to fight our urge to serve ourselves and take on a servant spirit.

@goreae @markaschryses @TheresaArueyin1 More like you were already gonna die from a gun shot that you fired at yourself and he says let me take that bullet for you and you refuse to let him step in front of it for you. Hell will be anywhwre other than heaven with God once you see it but can't have it.

@dataonbothsides @markaschryses @TheresaArueyin1 No, it's more like someone put a gun to your head and said "praise me or I kill you". That's not free will. That's called coercion. My issue is he's supposed to be loving, merciful, and omnipotent, and yet is incapable of creating an alternative to heaven other than torment.

@markaschryses @TheresaArueyin1 Do some research on how God is perfect love but also perfectly just. A judge wouldn't be a very good judge if he cherry picked and handed out unequal sentences to person after person commiting the same crime.

@Yousavewithus @xonphused Yes but the framework for those ethics can't be separated from what actually transpired in history. Which was all philosophy first starting from religion , which was all things moral coming first from the miraculous. This was essentially the Renaissance.

@xonphused plenty of non-religious people live ethically. Religion is not the source of morality. You don't even need a god to form morality. You can have morals whether a god exists or doesn't exist. Morality is innately part of the human experience itself.

Focused 🧘🏾‍♂️👁️
Christians seriously believe people can’t have morals without their god🤦🏽 What happened to your conscience and emotions. What happened to logical thinking? What happened to having a self of awareness about how the things you do affect others? If you truly believe that you as a human can’t have morals without your religion, then you’re just wicked.

@markaschryses @TheresaArueyin1 Also in Christianity we are basing things on the fact that if God exists he is 100% loving, holy, perfect but also just as justice is part of those three. So he would be deserving in every way without any exception not a rough dictator making people bow down despite his flaws.
