@sentichao Yes, i actually like Robbie’s work in Persona 5 and the 2017 Spider-Man show - i was hyped when they announced him as Vergil. If they can have his voice closer to his IRL voice’s tone as Vergil that might work better!

@datdudeohyeah Do you think it would have worked still had Robbie spoke closer to his real voice, I just saw the QnA for season 2 and while not exactly the same as Dan's, it an interesting choice to not go with the deep low voice typically for antagonists

Ok my real opinions of season 2 now as a fan that played the all games since 2003: They somehow made Arius relevant which is good; Epic kaiju fight but i wish Dante and Vergil can defeat Argosax without Mundus; DanLady bits are good (pls gimme more) (Cont.)

@IanSabath IKR, i personally think this makes him more sympathetic and understandable. Vergil and Dante both are broken and fragile mentally, and this is a good way to explore it.

@datdudeohyeah Maybe it’s a hot take but I prefer the characterization of Vergil being brainwashed though conditioning and Mundus’s lies and grooming vs him just being magically compelled to work for Mundus. It makes him way more interesting imo

The funny thing is, some of the side things about Dante and Lady remain in the novels. In one of, Trish tells Dante that she's not like Lady and she doesn't need money to be around, he doesn't understand and she calls him "dense" and Lady "clumsy".
