What’s still got me thinking though is the DOM. I understand what it is, but I don’t fully get the “why” and “when” to actually use it 🤷🏽‍♂️

Started this week with objects, and I can’t lie, I was crushing it — though there were a few things I’d forgotten, like how functions can be written inside objects 😅 Crazy right?

Back again for Refresh Log #2 🔥 Been re-learning the fundamentals, and this time I landed on functions. I already had a solid grasp going in, but revisiting them properly gave me a much sharper understanding of how they actually work under the hood. Thread 🧵

Now I’m curious about something… Does everything in JavaScript ultimately come down to functions? For example, are classes basically functions in disguise under the hood? 👀

It also reminded me why revisiting the basics is worth it. The things you think you “already know” often make a lot more sense after you’ve built more experience.

One thing that really stood out was scope. I understood the concept before, but taking the time to really sit with it made it click on a different level. There’s something genuinely satisfying about how scope behaves once you understand the rules. 😅

So this is officially Refresh Log #1. 🚀🔥 We’re kicking things off with JavaScript fundamentals. Let’s see how much I remember… and how much I’ve forgotten. 😂

Instead of pretending I know it all, I’ve decided to refresh everything. Back to the fundamentals. Relearning. Sharpening the rusty parts. Filling in the gaps. Because great engineers never stop learning.

Recently i decided to build a full-stack website, and going in, i realized two things: i am not as updated with as i thought 😅 and for some languages/ framework i have completely forgotten the how to wield them 😂.
