@AlanCRowland Enjoy reading your prices & theories Alan. If you want to improve, I’d weight a % of your prices to the market. It is too sharp to ignore & disrespect. Blend your prices & you’ll have less outliers & higher efficiency.

Dear readers, here's an idea I'd like your opinion on. I go through long periods without posting my rated prices because I get very disillusioned getting it so wrong sometimes. Taking a big set against Half Yours in the Caulfield Cup for instance. That was a huge mistake. I'm a perfectionist and I try to be honest with myself and others. So rather than lead people astray I stop posting. But maybe I'm being too much of a perfectionist. The fact is punting is a very difficult game to do well at and nobody is right all the time. My question to you is do you want me to post my rated prices even though the method I'm currently using is not that accurate? I'm constantly working on improving my ratings but I'm not where I'd like to be yet. I can hold back, like I have mostly been doing, until I get it right, or I can continue posting if enough people want to see the prices even if they are a work in progress. To be honest I'm happy either way. What do you think?
