The Texas grocery store chain H-E-B just put up brand new sings in the candy isle and soda isle
‘All candy and some sweetened drinks are no longer SNAP Eligible’ along with more info. No more junk food with taxpayer funded EBT
This is what I voted for!
@SirDogTurd@DrClownPhD that's dangerous, he could pick Sky Bandits although maybe by the 14th watch you could start piecing together a coherent plot with stuff you made up in your mind
@WallStreetApes I've only been in texas a little over a year. HEB is pretty bad ass. And Texans love their HEB like they love their Bucc-ees. Its kinda crazy though.
@WallStreetApes Pay close attention to the expiration dates at the convenience store for sodas if you're in Texas, two stores near me had to throw out a pile that had expired back when SNAP benefits were on hold, meaning A LOT of people bought them using benefits and those stores get older stock
In Oregon, all water is publicly owned.
Rain that falls on your property. Snow that melts on your land.
Gary Harrington didn’t accept that.
He built three reservoirs on his 170-acre property in Eagle Point — collecting rainwater and snowmelt for personal use and wildfire protection.
The state told him to drain the reservoirs.
He refused.
30 days in jail. Nine misdemeanor convictions. $1,500 fine.
His argument: it’s rain that fell on my land.
Oregon’s argument: all water belongs to us.
Oregon won.
“I just truly cannot get over the fact that somebody had the idea, ran it through an entire design team approvals, got everything signed off to build matching, identical, some would say twin towers in downtown Seattle… and install an airplane fuselage between them.”
Insane!! 👇🏼
@Thefactsdude Whole pile of people out there with illegal tint, cops could write tickets all day long and probably do, they knew what they were signing up for by getting limo tint so take the ticket and stfu
NEW: Miami woman accuses police of racial targeting and attacking her in front of her daughter during traffic stop
The incident began when officers ticketed her for having an illegal tent on her SUV.
She was then cited for failing to provide insurance and registration documents, and for not wearing a seatbelt.
She requested a supervisor but says none was provided.
Fearing for her life as three officers were on scene, she called 911 asking for additional officers to respond.
@kimberly_4VOLS@WallStreetApes Hmmm... seems to me the contract would probably still be valid but even if they needed to be renegotiated this farm looks like it maybe didn't want the terms IDK the ground looks unattended so it's known for awhile it wasn't going to get picked
@WallStreetApes I didnt even realize they had. It says they did in 2025 due to people wanting fresh food and overproduction due to COVID, but they sold the company to 3 seperate companies. Do they not need peaches?
55,000 tons of peaches no longer have a buyer at this Peach orchard in California because Del Monte went bankrupt
Del Monte Foods is the long time major buyer and processor of California peaches, now roughly 70 long-term contracts with California peach growers are terminated
Over 75,000 tons of peaches no longer have buyers for the upcoming season, disrupting an entire industry
@Master2udarnit@WallStreetApes Yeah it is a bit beyond going down to Fire Trucks R Us and buying a truck, I suspect California regs also play a large part in the timeline, the free market would dictate more manufactures if there's a shortage
New lawsuit by the City of San Diego shows that fire truck companies are robbing American taxpayers
“The county says, fire trucks that once cost $650,000, now top $1.3 million. Deliveries that used to take one year, now take four”
“The lawsuit claims manufacturers deliberately created shortages to drive up prices and the company's own CEO reportedly bragged to investors. Quote, ‘we like backlog, we love backlog’”
@LarryDarDar1@BrianRoemmele I guess it no different than listening to a clock radio, but yeah hundreds of dollars spent on a mono speaker does blow my mind people would settle for that
@kitchinsync@BrianRoemmele My buddy was restoring an old amp and wanted to know where he could get cloth covered wiring to complete his restoration. I told him there was a reason they stopped using it.
@Y0dasLeftNut@TaraBull That's a new detail I've not heard, not that I followed the case or anything but the videos on this case just shows the video and what is obvious to conclude.
@TaraBull I’m confused about the other student (girl) walking in to the bathroom & walking right out…what u mean she only saw a naked butt??? Like on the floor unconcious or what? Cuz I cant think of a reason she would only see her ass and not him unless she was on the floor knocked out??
Some are saying it’s an old air shaft for a mine and some are saying it’s for flood control. If it is in fact an old air shaft, why wouldn’t they cover it? Doesn’t seem safe.
@Looneycrats@ClownWorld The low mw laser diode pointers have really lulled the public into how dangerous lasers actually are, even a momentary stray reflective hit from a "high powered" laser to the eye can result in permanent blindness. They are cool "tech" but in no way toys.
@ClownWorld The red laser is for targeting. The IR laser does the work. By the way, you need laser goggles for the wavelength of the IR laser to protect your eyes from reflections. You can google laser eye damage. It is NOT pretty.
@5am1am_6@j0ker937 Nope, if you have a job that involves "outside normal working hours" others are not obligated to accommodate. You are responsible for your own ear hearing things get ear plugs, sleep in a closet full or clothes or move.
Exhaustion meets exhaustion. 🫣
Neighbor: "I’ve just done a full night shift and I need some peace and quiet to go to sleep."
Mom: "It’s a newborn baby... I’m trying my absolute best."
This is a tough situation for everyone involved. How would you handle this if you were in their shoes? 👇
NEW: Fort Myers woman fatally beaten outside Chevron gas station on MLK Blvd
Surveillance video from the Chevron gas station and D&D Convenience Store on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard shows a man repeatedly striking a woman’s vehicle with a hammer at 6 a.m. this morning.
The victim, a clerk at the store, exited to confront him. The man then approached her and fatally struck her with the hammer, knocking her to the ground.
He continued striking her before casually walking away.
Police are searching for the armed and dangerous suspect.
Nearby schools were placed on lockdown during the search.
The investigation is ongoing.
@joeroganhq This is why they shit canned Cesar Chavez so damn quick, he was a fighter against illegal aliens and farm laborers losing their jobs. The move to rename them undocumented immigrants was subtle but planned.
Chef José Andrés: "I am a cook and I know there is no America without immigrants. There is no food at our table without immigrants. There is no farm without immigrants. There are no kitchens without immigrants."
@PoliticalMemes5@DudespostingWs "uuattention passengers uuah flight attendants will be collecting the open window fee if you choose to watch the space launch please refrain from leaning over the seat infront of you in order to avoid the fee. Also the toilet is broke but we will be distributing free piss bags."
@belleofva@perseverare1776@MrWhiteMAGA I was thinking either hospital or college campus, college I went to had one with a pretty limited menu, but it really doesn't matter, dude seems nice but short of a Hooters I don't see any food chain liking videos like this.
Chick-fil-A culture…
Or not so much?
I heard staff got fired after this video went viral.
Do you agree? Should people lose their jobs over this?
Especially considering this is a “Christian” company?
