Damn, Denali is a special place. This is definitely a national park that has done it right. What a treasure!

Saw my first grizzly bear in Kluane National Park which is hands down one of the most breathtaking places I've ever been.

@Rhiannon_Kirton Oh, you're way out east! We drove up the interior route from 97 to 1. If you get a chance to do it, definitely take a detour to Stewart. This whole area is unreal!

Fifteen hours of driving yesterday put us in Fraser Lake, British Columbia! Pictures to come, but for mammals alone we've seen bighorn sheep, moose, black bear, black-tailed deer, and beavers.

Holy shit, British Columbia is incredible! Drove the length in four days, but you'd need four years to even scratch the surface.

I haven't gone on a true vacation since COVID started, and this week I'm driving with a friend up to Alaska to meet another friend and backpack, fish, and relax for two weeks. Beyond excited!

If I ever needed to dispose of a body I would put it on our shared drive because nobody can find a damn thing on it.

I’ve tried AI generated business names, those fun rap name generators, finding inspo by looking at past photos and hoping some whimsical meaningful name comes to be in my dreams or on a camping trip. For the life of me, I CANNOT come up with a name for my LLC.

Since I moved to a new area, I've been taking weekends to check out the area I oversee, and I'm pleased to report that Oregon remains as always fucking gorgeous.

@NDHooven Could it be peeling damage from a black bear? From my understanding they do something similar to this photo to access the sugars in growing trees.

Can anyone confirm that this looks like porcupine damage? About 5 feet up a young lodgepole pine. I’ve never seen a single porcupine at my field sites and hear from everyone that they’re exceedingly rare, so this is a bit of a mystery.
