We shouldn't be stuck with the terrible Brexit experiment that the Conservatives and Nigel Farage lumped us with. It's costing the UK £90bn a year. We need a bold new deal with Europe, that means joining the Single Market, a new customs union and deeper co-operation on defence.

10 years on from the Conservatives' Brexit experiment and Britain is poorer, weaker, and more insecure. But one person has made a success of it...🤔

It's officially the hottest June day ever. We know who is to blame. Fossil fuel firms. The billionaire media. Weak politicians. We know what we must do. Rapid decarbonisation & adaptation for a healthier, wealthier country safe for future generations.

@ZackPolanski Aaah the poor dears. Try running around Lagos in a suit negotiating with central bank to get funds repatriated to the UK. Something I did for a living and countless expatriates. Guess we were made of sterner stuff than the wokes of today.

While the government collapses, kids are fainting in classrooms and workers are sweltering. It's time to heatproof Britain: 1⃣ Heatproofing for every home that needs it 2⃣Cooling measures for schools, hospitals and care homes 3⃣ A maximum workplace temperature limit.

A decade after the Brexit referendum, Britain is poorer, growth has suffered, and the promises haven't matched the reality. Nigel Farage has made millions, while the rest of us pay the price. Here's what Liberal Democrat MPs had to say ⬇️

@cammaynard Oh yeah, and open the door to every immigrant and citizen living in the EU. Don't you think we have enough problems on that front?

10 years on from the Brexit referendum, the UK is poorer, weaker, and more isolated. We need to stop digging ourselves into a deeper hole and begin rebuilding our relationship with Europe by rejoining the Single Market.

@LibDems And the Libdems receive, on average £3.5 million EVERY YEAR in donations. That's £13.5 million in 10 years. Liberal? Democratic? No, hypocrites.

After ten years of the Conservatives’ Brexit experiment, the British public have had enough. Nigel Farage pocketed a £5 million ‘reward’ for the damage he’s caused, while the rest of us are paying for it dearly. It’s time to end the chaos and fix our broken relationship with Europe.

Brexit was not democratic 10 years ago I, a British citizen, wasn't allowed to vote in a referendum which took away my rights as a British citizen If hundreds of thousands like me had not been denied this fundamental right, the knife-edge result would have been different

There is a human being at the heart of this story, and that matters more than the story. Keir Starmer put the country first at the G7 last week, then went straight back to the day job. He walks towards the problems, not away. We owe him the decency of remembering that.

Keir Starmer’s announcement today marks the end of a short but deeply transformative chapter in British politics. For everyone who believed in his vision, today is a day to hold your head high. He rebuilt Labour, rooted out antisemitism, delivered a historic landslide, and cut NHS waiting lists with record falls while strengthening workers’ rights. By choosing an orderly transition over an ugly leadership battle, Starmer has executed the ultimate act of public service. He put the stability of the nation ahead of personal ambition. Thank you, Prime Minister, for your service and lasting legacy. We still support you until your last day in office and after.

Ten years ago today Britain voted by a narrow majority (51.9%) to leave the European Union. Most Brits living in other EU countries couldn’t vote. The Leave campaign featured a pack of lies and promises that did not materialise. Today, a growing majority want to the EU again
