Yeah, SQ 832 is a big NO from me. If you want to - Help big corporations that can shoulder the burden by killing off those who can’t. - Raise your own cost of living by jacking up the operating costs of businesses. - Strangle every small-town business that now has to operate off of big city economics in poorer, smaller local economies. …then go ahead and vote yes. Stick a knife in the heart of every small business in the economically depressed areas of this beautiful state. Share if you agree. #OK #OKLAHOMA #SmallBusiness #SQ832 #VoteNoSQ832

Okies need to remember that SQ 832 is not just a 1-time change in the minimum wage. It raises the mandated wage IN PERPETUITY by tying the mandatory wage to a big-city (LA & NYC—not OKC & Tulsa) consumer price index. That’s INSANE! Vote no on June 16th.

Ironically, a yes vote for SQ 832 *does* stick it to the 1%--just not the 1% they think. Voting yes on 832 will stick it to the 1% of people earning around minimum wage.

@Law_and_Econ Imagine taking orders from the heritage foundation that has plagued trumps 2nd term with multiple fascist policies and more aid for the 1%. You literally take $ from the 1% and push their policy. Vote yes. Stick it to the 1%

SQ 832 will force many Oklahoma small businesses to cut hours and benefits for their employees. SQ 832 is on the ballot June 16.

@downesphoto @Law_and_Econ There is nothing in sq 832 to prevent that executive from just laying people off or slashing their hours or replacing them with automation if sq 832 passes

@Law_and_Econ But I can tell your mind is made up. I hope the good feelz you get from voting no and can sustain an executive who loses 5% of their income to support the working poor.

@trentengland CA, OR and WA -- the states that have been doing minimum wage for more than a decade the way sq 832 would do it in Oklahoma -- now have the highest grocery prices in the continental US
