@AvonandsomerRob @GenghisTebbit For every 200 applicants my work hire 15 ppl. The hiring process is set by dei. Nigerian students are 80% more likely to be employed. Our customers dont like dealing with them

@GenghisTebbit If they are only out of work six months then go back into FT work they should be supported. I question the commitment to this country of any British person that doesn't work.

Rupert Lowe wants to ban foreigners from claiming benefits. Fair enough, but what about a Polish family who face unemployment but have paid tax for 20 years into the British treasury? Do we discriminate against them in favour of British parents who have never worked and bleed our welfare system dry on benefits? Make it make sense..

@AvonandsomerRob Polish family. Moved into a house with 20 people. Worked for less than minimum wage. Drove down wages for people making education debt unplayable in the professions. Cash in hand killed the trades.

I cannot be the only person that looks at this and sees a Motherwell player attempting to play the ball and a Rangers player taking him down without even attempting to play the ball? If that at the other end of the pitch it’s a penalty to Motherwell… what am I missing here

The Kevin Clancy performance at the end was nothing but cheating. He deliberately blew his whistle to alleviate pressure on Motherwell. Anyone who knows the game will tell you some of his decisions are not normal.@ScottishFA #cabal

@CF3Loyal Would disagree It was correct to sell him as it was a great fee for him However the lack of quality to come in afterwards has made it look like it was a mistake to sell him That doesn’t make Sakala any better of a player

abc.net.au/news/2011-08-0… "We think the common ancestor lived in the Caucasus about 9,500 years ago," Mr Scholz said. King tut lived in the 1300s BC. So having an Armenian granddaddy, 6 thousand years before he was born in Egypt, is enough for him to be considered mostly British? Or white? He probably had a lot of other granddaddies in that 6000 year span, you know.

Lewis Ferguson has spent 4 years in the top flight in Italy, amassing well over 100 appearances, and captaining the squad to their first Coppa Italia in over 50 years. He’d also come to Rangers in a heartbeat. Anyone turning their nose up at him is out of their mind.

@Matt_Pinner Depends on alot of things. Welfare to work programmes usually pay less than minimum wage and encourage employers to sack workers for cheaper incentives. Should your road/council tax cover employing people to clean this up? Should dicks throwing rubbish out their cars be jailed

“Genuine question… If someone is claiming benefits and is able to work, is it really unreasonable to ask them to do a few hours a week helping the community? Even something simple like litter picking or cleaning up local parks.” What are your Thoughts?

@ScotlandSky If we'd had more players with Tavs ability the whole time he was here rather than just one or two of those years I'm sure he'd have a lot more trophies, quite an unfair comment.

Much of our pipework is ageing and needs renewing. Water companies are working to reduce water leaks by 1 billion litres by 2030. So, we can keep water flowing to where it’s needed, for generations to come.

Ok someone explain to me like I’m 5yr how an ex-pat is different from a migrant? You don’t learn the language, you don’t live by the culture, you don’t pay taxes… at least migrants want to contribute to our society. Get me?

@scotlandscoeff1 He is a weapon who creates false narratives and refuses to change his mind. The referees are a proven low standard. Need full time referees, none of the current batch, none of the current structure involved in the training

Scotland’s Coefficient
Scotland’s Coefficient@scotlandscoeff1·
The Scottish Senior Football Referees' Association (SSFRA) have released a statement aligning themselves with the SFA's view that Michael Stewart's commentary has "at times extended beyond fair and legitimate criticism, including personal remarks that call into question the integrity of our members". The SSFRA also believe there have been occasions where exclusive access to var communication has been used inappropriately "to deliberately create a narrative to undermine confidence in refereeing standards".

Confirmation from Premier Sports that Michael Stewart will not be involved in the coverage of today's Scottish Cup Semi Final between Celtic and St. Mirren. Premier Sports see this as a "direct attempt to censor one of the valued members of our team"
