@GeorgeN28581 Heads up because you're going to bombarded with AESA radar questions as one of the recent episodes of Combat Approved showed a Flanker equipped with the same.....
There was a successor for the successor.
During the early 1970s, the Navy proposed a nuclear-powered flying airship using research data from the ZRCV proposal.
It consisted of two envelopes of 1000' length and volumes of 22,000,000 cubic feet each. The two envelopes would be linked by an 800' wing. The wing would carry a hangar that could carry 75 to 100 aircraft.
Worrying to see Type 26 frigate projects in 🇦🇺Australia (Hunter class) and 🇨🇦Canada (CSC) both receiving increasing criticism from politicians and media.
In both cases, the navies have demanded excessive changes to original design resulting in spiralling costs and delays.

@AndreiBtvt I always have some questions.
How many of the most original T-90 tanks have been produced? Why are even T-54/55 sent to the front line now, but T-90 are not? What is their relationship with the T-90A?Is the T-90A produced by replacing the welded turret on the chassis of the T-90?
On October 5, 1992, the T-90 tank was put into service by Russian Government Resolution No. 759-58. In pursuance of this decree, Order No. 034 was issued by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation on 28.04.93.Serial production was organized at Uralvagonzavod in 1992-98.
@SubBrief To me this is like a space ride getting stuck in low orbit and people expecting the government to just dust off a shuttle and fly up to get them. It’s hard to get to the bottom of the ocean and you can’t expect the government to have a rescue option on standby.
Cover up begins: Seems like OceanGate Expeditions social media damage control has begun. David Concannon, Titan submarine pilot, just went on 'News Nation' attributed as an 'Advisor to OceanGate' and criticized the 'Government' response loss of the Titan as 'slow'.
@CovertShores@arthurgeyland@anderspuck I agree with his conclusion about why the west isn't responding. I don't agree with him on the idea that Russia blew up nordstream. Is it possible Russia did it? Of course, but I think some years in the future we're going to find out that the US did it.
@SubBrief I'd say Yes, but also they can't do it without escalating the war, same as how Russia has military equipment and personnel in Belarus but Ukraine can't strike it without bringing Belarus into the war.
Rules of War question: Is this transport ship leaving the United States with armored vehicles for Ukraine a Military Target? Can Russia legally sink this ship?
@markhumphries You gave the owner a choice? Why would you do that? In this day and age the likelihood of any lease renewal without an outrageous rent markup is low to say the least. Just do what I did, have it hooked up and send them the bill.
On this week’s podcast, @JonStewart asks Secretaries @HillaryClinton and @CondoleezzaRice how necessary or effective American military intervention is in international conflicts. The full episode comes out tomorrow on @ApplePodcasts and YouTube.
@CovertShores The real question is how are they getting there, based on their size I wouldn't think they'd have the range to make it to Novorossiysk from Ukraine, I suspect they're being launched from a support vessel.
@Virtual_Regatta the only way I can play ATM is to go in via Vendee Globe Antarctique '22 race and then select a different race once in, while in the other races if I select the 3D option I just get stuck on the loading pages. It's the same on both PC and android mobile for me.
@GrogsGamut So would a correct take away be that CPI adjusted we are actually earning more now than 1960 but only because we are working more, we're actually earning less per hour? (Checks payslips, yup that check out, earns national average income while doing 80hrs/pw as a casual)
Earlier this month the Productivity Commission put out a report that included this graph that made it look like productivity and real wages are growing in line (sort of) and that real wages are actually doing better (yes, I know!!)
Business groups loved it (shock!)
