In case you were wondering, this is how it works.
A towbarless aircraft tug is used to push an aircraft back from the gate. Instead of using a towbar, it drives up to the nose wheels, clamps them in place and lifts the nose landing gear slightly off the ground.
The main landing gear stays on the ground at all times.
Once secured, the tug controls the steering and carefully pushes the aircraft into position for taxi. Only a small part of the aircraft's weight rests on the nose gear which is why even large aircraft like the Boeing 777 can be moved safely and smoothly.
After pushback, the tug lowers the nose wheels and disconnects, and the pilots continue taxiing.

@ATRightMovies It’s awesome that you chose to display this in black and white as if it was done in the 50’s 🙄😔

There are many false claims in this letter but let me address one specifically: that "Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation."
This is the same false claim that Democrats and some in the liberal media have been repeating over and over.
As President Trump has clearly and explicitly stated, he had strong and compelling evidence that Iran was going to attack the United States first.
This evidence was compiled from many sources and factors. President Trump would never make the decision to deploy military assets against a foreign adversary in a vacuum.
Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.
The Iranian regime is evil. It proudly killed Americans, waged war against our country, and openly threatened us all the way up to the launch of Operation Epic Fury.
Iran was aggressively expanding their short-range ballistic missiles to combine with their naval assets to give themselves immunity – meaning they would have a degree of a capabilities that would give them immunity to hold us and the rest of the world hostage.
The regime aimed to use those ballistic missiles as a shield to continue achieving their ultimate goal – nuclear weapons.
The President, through his top negotiators, gave the regime every single possible opportunity to abandon this unacceptable course by permanently giving up their nuclear ambitions in exchange for sanctions relief, free nuclear fuel, and potential economic partnerships with our country.
But they would not say yes to peace because obtaining nuclear weapons was their fundamental goal.
President Trump ultimately made the determination that a joint attack with Israel would greatly reduce the risk to American lives that would come from a first strike by the terrorist Iranian regime and address this imminent threat to America’s national security interests.
All of this led to President Trump arriving at the determination that this military operation was necessary for U.S. national security, which is why he launched the massively successful Operation Epic Fury.
The Commander-in-Chief determines what does and does not constitute a threat, because he is the one constitutionally empowered to do so - and because the American people went to the ballot box and entrusted him and him alone to make such final judgments.
And finally, the absurd allegation that President Trump made this decision based on the influence of others, even foreign countries, is both insulting and laughable. President Trump has been remarkably consistent and has said for DECADES that Iran can NEVER possess a nuclear weapon.
As someone who actually witnesses President Trump’s decision-making process on a daily basis, I can attest to the fact that he is always looking to do what’s in the best interest of the United States of America — period.
America First.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.
English

@LindseyGrahamSC @POTUS So let me get this straight. T&N decided to bomb Iran without talking to any other country. Now it is a shit show and you are going to blame those other countries? NATO = North Atlantic. Wtf does Iran have to do with NATO?
English

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake.
The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure.
The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America.
I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

@Breaking911 Has nothing to do with massive storms pretty well everywhere ?

@N0pes @tommysantos14 There is something more supernatural about what is going on there and it scares the shit out of me

@tommysantos14 The replies here show how out of touch MAGA is about their dismal approval ratings.

When Trump leaves office:
The Department of War will go back to being the Defense Department.
The Trump Kennedy Center will go back to being the Kennedy Center.
The Gulf of America will once again be the Gulf of Mexico.
The unfinished East Wing (it won't be finished by the end of Trump's term) will be rebuilt by the next president, and it will not be a ballroom.
Federal agencies packed with unqualified loyalists will fire those people and rehire the career experts Trump fired.
The Department of Justice will go back to enforcing the law instead of protecting the president.
Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference.
The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies.
The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists.
Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it.
The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters.
U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators.
And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.

@cryptofergani Fcking idiots who claim to know what Bitcoin will do but know nothing
English

@WatcherGuru The promise of Bitcoin was actually quite amazing. The reality of Bitcoin is completely different. It never became a currency - too slow and too expensive to transact. Later, it was declared an Asset, but far too volatile for that and an asset for what - it’s just code.

@sentdefender Right 😳. Not to mention that Russia gets to ship oil again. They have no vested interest in helping Iran at all 🤔

@BernieSanders Americans get so upset at the idea of state run media but have no issues with billionaires (with their own agenda) controlling the media. It’s insane.
English

@johnny_bra15772 @Vivek4real_ And .. Bitcoin’s rigid code means there is no safety net—no way to adjust the supply during a crisis. I'd rather have a currency managed by humans who can respond to reality than a fixed algorithm that is indifferent to economic suffering.
English

@david3rd @Vivek4real_ Are you speaking of the US dollar which is simply computerized digits backed by thin air, and is manipulated to increase in volume and decrease in purchasing power?
