I’m David Orkin. I’m an immigrant workers’ rights attorney, UAW union organizer, and democratic socialist. Today, I’m announcing my campaign to represent the working people of New York State Assembly District 38 in Ridgewood, Glendale, Woodhaven, and Ozone Park.

In fact, a Trump-backed fracked natural gas pipeline that failed approval in New York THREE times finally got the go ahead from Hochul – and it’s going to pass on billions in construction costs onto ratepayers!

Does @GovKathyHochul think Climate Change will agree to a time out? New Yorkers have died already and prices keep skyrocketing BECAUSE of fossil fuels, but she keeps doing Trump’s dirty work, pushing his lies that fighting climate change is why our energy bills are so high.

In the U.S. it started as a day for working Irish immigrants to celebrate amid labor and class discrimination. Today, it’s a nationwide celebration in the very places that once barred them, and as @NYCMayor says, a lesson in solidarity. 🇮🇪 Happy St. Patrick’s Day, sláinte! 🇮🇪
