"Ethereum is dead." We hear this narrative every cycle. But on April 28, 2026, the network reached 3,627,491 daily transactions, the highest level ever recorded. Just pause and think about the sheer magnitude of this scale. When you zoom out and compare this to the peaks of previous cycles, the growth is staggering. And here is the most fascinating part, despite this massive surge, we are still incredibly early. In our opinion, the network effects are compounding faster than most realize. Given this momentum, we expect Ethereum to cross 6 million daily transactions before the end of the year. Source: @etherscan

You survive either way if you press red, while you may not if you press blue. Everyone should rationally press red and everyone should survive. The way the question is presented makes people feel like blue is the moral choice while red is greedy, but everyone should obviously press red and have everyone survive. No reason to press blue

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

BART spent $90 million on new fare gates. They're recovering about $10 million a year in fares. That's a 9-year payback on paper. The actual return hit in six months. Embarcadero station went from 112 hours of corrective maintenance in the six months before installation to 2 hours after. Daly City saved 109. Balboa Park saved 75. Across the system, 961 hours of cleanup work disappeared. Corrective maintenance is the term BART uses for graffiti, heavy soiling, vandalism, the damage that needs a crew not a janitor. At several stations it dropped to zero. Crime fell 41% year over year. Riders who reported seeing fare evasion on their trip dropped from 22% to 10%. Citations issued by BART police went from 2,200 in January to under 1,000 in July, because there was nothing to cite. The gates were a filtering project disguised as a revenue project. Old BART gates were waist-high orange fins designed in the 1970s. You could hop them in under a second. That made the station effectively a public space, and the rider mix reflected that. The new gates are 72 inches of polycarbonate with 3D sensors that detect tailgating. You either pay or you don't enter. Once you don't enter, you also don't smoke on the platform, sleep in the elevator, or harass other riders. BART tried hiring more police for years. Blitz operations at high-traffic stations. Increased patrols. Dedicated transit cops. None of it moved the numbers the way six feet of polycarbonate did. The $10 million in recovered fares is the smallest line in the return. Fare revenue used to cover 70% of BART operations. After the pandemic it collapsed to 22%. The gates won't fix that gap directly. They fix the precondition for fixing it: a system that office workers, families, and tourists are willing to use again. Ridership growth at stations with new gates outpaced ungated ones before the rollout finished. A $400 million annual deficit is heading to voters in November as a sales tax measure. Voters don't approve sales taxes for transit agencies they don't feel safe in. The $90 million on gates is buying BART the right to ask the public for more money. That's the real return on six feet of polycarbonate.

Youtube just scammed me. I need to download a video to clip it. There's a download widget, I clicked, and then saw "You have to pay for Premium to download". So I paid, then tried again. It said "Okay, you've downloaded it". It isn't downloaded—just saved on Youtube. Scammed.

Bull Theory@BullTheoryio

🚨 THIS IS INSANE. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick's sons could be making 3 to 5x returns on every dollar they spent buying tariff refund rights. Cantor Fitzgerald, now run by Lutnick's sons Brandon and Kyle, was buying tariff refund claims from companies at 20 to 30 cents on the dollar. The firm told clients it had "capacity to trade up to several hundred million" in these claims. They confirmed at least one $10 million trade was already executed as of July 2025. They said they expected that number to "balloon in the coming weeks." That was 9 months ago. Today those claims are worth 100 cents on the dollar. The refund portal is live, $166 billion in refunds are being processed. If Cantor bought $100 million in refund rights at 25 cents on the dollar, they spent $25 million. They now collect $100 million from the government. That is a $75 million profit. A 300% return. If they scaled to "several hundred million" as they told clients they could, the profits run into the hundreds of millions. Howard Lutnick was the architect of the tariff policy. He pushed Trump to impose them. He fought against officials who wanted to limit them. Then he left Cantor Fitzgerald to his sons and transferred his equity into a trust benefiting them. Tax free under government ethics rules. He received $360 million from the buyout. His sons positioned the firm to profit from the exact policy their father built. Their father publicly championed tariffs he knew could be struck down while his sons were buying refund claims betting they would be.

@w_s_bitcoin Yes but if everyone gets $1mil in annual UBI you'll get 100x hyper-inflation overnight (or worse) and 1btc will cost $100mil/BTC in a panic rush to the door.

🇺🇸 Trump posted an AI image of himself as Jesus Christ. Then deleted it. Then said it was a doctor. Then Vance said it was just a joke. Three explanations in 24 hours for a post that no longer exists. Might go down as the strangest thing he's ever posted, and we'll probably never know what he actually meant by it...

The Kristi Noem story keeps getting more incredible The Daily Mail has obtained audio and messages of Bryon insulting his wife and worshipping a 5 foot tall, buxom dominatrix named Shy Sotomayor, while discussing his desire to transition into a woman. He told the dominatrix he wanted to be called "Crystal." Bryon Noem: "I need to be your trans bimbo slut." Sotomayor was shocked he wanted a name so close to "Kristi." From the Daily Mail article: 'F*** your family,' Sotomayor texted Bryon in November, later calling the whole Noem clan 'gross.' 'Love that,' he responded. 'Besides the fact of who your wife is, no one is prettier than me. No one is as powerful,' she continued. 'F***ing true. Do you want me to be a woman?' he wrote. 'Do you want to be a woman for me,' she asked. 'I think I do,' he replied. In a recording of a phone conversation they had weeks later, Bryon can be heard telling Sotomayor that he loved her. 'So much better than your wife, aren't I?' she asked. 'You're so much better,' he said. The Mail reports that this relationship with the dominatrix started in 2016 and first ended in 2020. Then, Bryon Noem reached back out in October 2025, and was more needy. Sotomayor found out who he was, and then started to shame him over what was happening with ICE in Minnesota. Daily Mail: "she ultimately felt she could no longer remain silent, even while role-playing." Now, she would tell him that his wife was a horrible person, and Bryon would change the subject or say not to believe everything she saw in the news. Two weeks later, on January 31, he was back chatting again, this time defending his marriage. 'I do like my wife and I know you don't,' he wrote. 'To be honest. She's not [very] likable,' Sotomayor responded. 'There's no female compared to me. Especially your wife,' she later added. 'True!!!' he texted. 'And f*** your wife. Don't you think, after everything she's done, she deserves this?' she wrote in another thread that same day. 'Deserves what?' he asked. 'You actually worshipping a woman who deserves it, instead of staying loyal to her,' Sotomayor wrote in reference to the thousands of dollars he was paying her. 'I don't know what to say to that. She's a good person. You are amazing though,' he wrote. I actually have more sympathy for Kristi Noem now. She was married to a complete weirdo, no wonder she went looking for something elsewhere. Regardless, Kristi Noem is in fact a horrible person, and we shouldn't forget that. But we can have more sympathy by understanding how she got like this, even though this doesn't excuse sadistically seeking to harm people of color as a way of coping.

@akevittnvg How do Japanese deal with the lactose? I read that East Asians don't make the enzyme to digest the milk sugar, which causes digestive upset. Light areas people digest it well, dark areas no. I know Mongols ferment their milk, which reduces lactose, but then it's yogurt or kefir.

If Satoshi were alive today and had access to her coins, she would either have sold (if selfish) or burned them (if acting in bitcoin's interest). the continued exitence of satoshi's coins in a utxo is a tail risk to bitcoin holders, as the price would crash if 1M coins suddenly came online. doing neither is inconsistent with a Satoshi who is alive at all, regardless of whether she has bitcoin's or her own interest in mind.
