It is not possible for the 🇬🇧 government to spend our taxes even if they wanted to. Nevertheless the idea persists. #LearnMMT

She’s right to rail against Treasury orthodoxy but almost certainly for the wrong reasons. Government spending, fuels employment and growth - not ‘free-markets’. Until we start spending biggly on much needed green infrastructure our economy will continue to crumble.
