We’re in the wonderful & unusual position of welcoming a German exchange student into our home for the second year in a row. My children are benefiting from a return visit. It is now very rare to do such exchanges due to checks & concerns, which is a shame. Did you go on one?

I’ve just learned that it’s relatively easy to get a job working hospitality in Antarctica on an 8 month contract. Total isolation. Literally The Thing. If I weren’t married or a parent I’d 100% do this just for the stories and experience.

@stevencmiller The director's and cast's commentary on the Dog Soldiers DVD is like watching another movie. Not that it changes your view of it, but it just feels like two films for the price of one. So interesting and v funny. Neil Marshall was on his A game for this, and The Descent.

@ApolloJosh1 I'm not 100% sure. But it wasn't mine. We did a sales teaser in 2020 while raising money for the movie, that employed the lateral scroll. Either it was a primordial notion for Mr. Corbet, or something that stuck. But it was always the plan for both the teaser and the film.
