@thekitze I think you’re right. This plus Jevon’s paradox is why there will always be dev jobs.

you have to understand that most people dont wanna do jackshit, no matter how advanced ai gets they dont wanna do even the work they get paid for they wanna scroll shit and brianrot and gossip and be involved in drama and bullshit use this to your advantage (unelss you're one of them)

@badlogicgames Built kladde.dev but the collaborative part is on the simple side (websocket sync, last edit wins). Built it more for user-agent collab than many users. Also no images.

is there something like google docs, but for markdown? i need a cloud based collaborative markdown editor please.

Now that @claudeai has virtually become unusable. @steipete, what do you suggest we use for the main LLM in Openclaw? Something that will give us the same performance and personality that we loved from Opus4.6?

@thekitze Need a client for the notes as well. Notion API was tripping up my agents so I built kladde.dev Storage is just the file system (with git sync)

if u are using agents (openclaw, hermes, whatever the fuck) what is the difference between using obsidian/notion dbs vs just making sqlite/postgres dbs for anything you need

@ocbieuvang @badlogicgames :))) Banda reporting for duty! It's ridiculous how easy it is to wire up your own Claw-like in Pi.

I know that you hate Agent Swarm, so I created the Pi-Squad extension @badlogicgames. Multiple agents work together using Pi RPC. A planner agent breaks your task into multiple subtasks with dependencies and manages them. A QA agent verifies the work at the end; if anything fails, the squad creates a new task for the developer agent to rework, followed by another round of QA.

@badlogicgames This feels insignificant, especially considering it went for full rewrites over complex edits before

@davidatnilsson pi-mono repo has a script in scripts/ that lets you generate stats from your session jsonl files. clone then ask pi about it.

People of pi. Coming out briefly from prolonged OSS refactoring weekend to bring you gifts: - revamped edit tool - @ fuzzy matches now work on large file trees - many small fixes and improvements I will now go back into my cave and keep working on server mode to upset dax.

Garmin's trying to keep bots out of Garmin Connect and broke python-garminconnect. I built this in a weekend and got around it. Everything will be an API. github.com/jeffton/pirate… cc @cyberjunky @matin

@badlogicgames I do sense an increase in errors due non-matching oldText though. It just wrote a python script to edit a file to get around it in one case. All anecdotal of course, I have no stats.

@badlogicgames GPT 5.4 seems to like the new edit tool! Multi-edit instead of rewrites now.

Nah it has something but it’s pretty bad out of the box. It has daily memory files and a memory md file with important things, but it was weakly prompted to write to those files so it just didn’t until I set up explicit cron jobs to do it. It often doesn’t look up things we’ve talked about before. Tried setting up QMD for search but it didn’t find obvious things. Often it compacts mid conversation and gets all confused because it can’t see the previous messages. To be clear I think OpenClaw is awesome, this is just a surprisingly hard problem.

@davidatnilsson @karpathy What did you try? Doesn't open claw natively have decent memory?

Is agent memory actually solved yet? Anyone running it in production at scale? What are the real use cases, and how well does it hold up?

As far as i can tell, only Claude users think OpenClaw is cool. Some kind of persona parasite at work. This seems bad for OpenAI? Discuss

@girdley Huh looks like you’re right, only have API key for anthropic in openclaw configure now. I set it up in an older OpenClaw version, still running. In that case I would go for a ChatGPT plus sub, the personality is better after GPT 5.4.

@davidatnilsson Oh. Latest I read was they got rid of Oauth for anthropic.

I just spent $2.96 to have my OpenClaw send me a Hello World! email. We are so screwed.

@girdley In the OpenClaw onboarding, log in with oauth through OpenAI/Codex or Anthropic. Note that Anthropic is a grey area versus their ToS but I've been fine so far.
