I’ve been investing for less than 2 years with plenty of mistakes. I wish I’d started sooner. One of my goals now is to teach my kids about money, investing and long-term thinking from an early age. For now, I’m just focusing on staying consistent and learning as I go.

@LeeBowUK 100% I feel like the mistakes were always things like investing without knowing the whys or having that cushion so I ended up selling stocks (for a small profit) then getting my savings in order and an action plan together - sadly some of those stocks became part of the plan aha

@davidcalfx You’re in the game mate most people never even start 👌 Solid results in under 2 years, especially with the mistakes along the way. Consistency learning is the real edge Keep going! 💪

Thought I would jump on the trend of posting at the end of the day - but remember its about the long game if your investing for your future so always compare to your bigger picture. Hope everyone else is feeling good today!

@BradInv94 I mean a while ago some of my investments were in the tank and now its the other way - my plan for them is long term dividends and abit of growth so its nice to just let it ride and not freak out haha

@JamieFInvests Yeh its tough but also been rewarding - sometimes having to take steps back too to make sure I had a fallback amount incase of job issues etc all been a learning curve im excited to shared with them

@davidcalfx I am the same, not been investing seriously for as long as id like but definitely feel like I can pass down this knowledge and build up a nice ISA fund for when my kids are older!

@GregRichards77 Basically what I do with lunch Like right now im hungry - then around 5:30 ill have a big pile of veg, chicken, prawns and chips then maybe 8pm ill have a protein mouuse

@davidcalfx To get that low I have to hold off breakfast for as long as possible with loads of coffee etc. shortening the eating window is only option for me, curse of a large appetite

Started my cut in January at 82kg. As time has gone on, I’ve got more serious with it. Most people still guess I’m around 90kg, so muscle seems to be holding up well. 📉 1900 cals 🏋️ 4 sessions 🚶 10k steps Meal 1 is certainly my favourite at the moment (478cal 35P 21F 28C)

@GregRichards77 Yeh so i started on 2200 back in Jan and have been slowly tampering down - with how light i am now ans the fact i love a wine or beer at the weekend I had to go from 2000 to 1900 so i can balance out the week better

@davidcalfx I’ve been as low as 1800 short term but a nightmare with my appetite. Good to break it up with diet breaks working well too. Protein options these days are insanely accessible

@GregRichards77 So i can fight some of it off mid day until 5pm then im full until the morning - will update you with the 1900 cals today if you want
