I was also amazed, but not surprised, to find out that Arko was paying himself to be primary on-call, and then paying himself *again* @ $50k/yr to be secondary on-call.

One of the reasons to never pick sides early in OSS drama is you gotta wait until the juicy bits get released. Today we learn that one of the people that @rubycentralorg yanked access from, who everyone was having a cry about, wanted to sell all of our Rubygems installation data to 3rd parties. I'm glad @dhh, @tobi and whoever else involved stepped in and saved what could of been a horrific future for our beautiful ecosystem.
