[NEWS] Bill Knight Automotive is solving fleet service's biggest blind spot: Ryan Knight, Director of Operations for the Tulsa-based group, opened a 30,000-sq.-ft., 30-bay Ford Pro Elite shop dedicated exclusively to commercial service: 12 fleet bays moved out of the retail store, freeing capacity on both sides. As a result, absorption rate target jumped to 120%, up from 75–80%. Meanwhile, upfitting moved in-house, cutting weeks off fleet delivery timelines. For Knight, this was a bet on the one part of the business that doesn't swing with the market. His philosophy: "The new car market, the used car market's up and down.
