@mrewanmurray You should try asking the police for an explanation! I know the SLO and the club reps do, but it's not making any difference. There is a serious issue here that needs addressed. I hope it's taken seriously. I've highlighted it b4. Here's hoping, but I won't hold my breath

@davidfarrellfaz Weekly crushes is indeed a serious issue. It’s also a police one. You should ask them for an explanation. There is no reason at all for crushing outside Tynecastle (given the space in the street).

Why would you try to get into a stadium without a valid ticket? And how many continue to do this? School End stairwells at recent Hearts v Celtic matches tell a story...

@tedermeatballs @mrewanmurray That's the point everyone is missing though. It's not the turnstiles that were/are often the problem. It's the 'pens' beforehand. Ewan has probably never experienced it though. Still, it's only a game......

@mrewanmurray You continue to avoid my point about the safety issues OUTSIDE the ground which need better controlled by clubs and police and were NOT the fault of ticketless fans. I've made it now. You can maybe speak to your club about how they address it. Or not

@mrewanmurray Main reason is that too many people try to congregate around the area of the GB. That is a fact. My issue is these crushes OUTSIDE occur weekly. Children, families caught up in it. Safety is being compromised and irresponsible statements blaming a secondary issue, do not help

@mrewanmurray I was there last night, in the crush. You may not have seen me from ur cosy seat in the press box. Nonsensical to suggest the crush was due to ticketless fans. I've written about this before, nothing has changed. If u want the facts tho, rather than peddling conjecture , 1/2 ....
