You can tell a lot from a man by his biography.

A $10 million monument funded with $3 million from Veterans Affairs—and they couldn’t even get it right. Among the names meant to honour fallen veterans is Former Honourary Lieutenant Colonel Lee-Anne Quinn of our community, Peterborough, who is very much alive. As a veteran living with PTSD, who serves our community day in and day out providing medical care for our most vulnerable, this is devastating for Lee-Anne. The Trudeau Liberals have created a so-called tribute to fallen veterans that includes the names of living ones. This isn’t just embarrassing; it’s a betrayal of those who served. The Minister of Veterans Affairs @GinettePT must: 1 . Publicly apologize and personally reach out to Lee-Anne. 2. Fix the monument immediately. 3. Never use veterans’ names without explicit, written consent from them or their families. How do you spend $10 million on a monument and still manage to disrespect our heroes? Our veterans—and taxpayers—deserve answers.
