Oh dear. I’ve rather put my foot in it. In a column I wrote about Meghan, I made a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones and this has gone down badly with a great many people. I’m horrified to have caused so much hurt and I shall be more careful in future.

I see little hope for the Conservative Party at the next UK General Election unless @BorisJohnson returns as its leader. Boris wasn't a perfect PM, but he is a conservative, a Thatcherite, a true Brexiteer, and doesn't believe in raising taxes. He is a leader and a winner.

As we remember the fallen at the Cenotaph, and honour their sacrifice, we are reminded that war has tragically returned to our European continent, on an appalling scale. The brave work of the men and women of our armed forces is more important than ever.

Boris had the numbers, members would have backed him & he’d have been PM. But relentless noise from too many in Parliament & media would have made governing impossible.  He has done the honourable thing

Great news that the economy grew by 0.5% in May – outstripping expectations. This government has taken action to protect jobs through a challenging 2 years, whilst making record investments in infrastructure, levelling up and ensuring people can get skills they need to progress.

1/3 The PM has made a full and unreserved apology. The public now want us to get on and deliver - dealing with the war in Ukraine, helping with the global rising cost of living which has resulted from the war and post pandemic.
