@hofrat Hello, It's a fact that a part of our material is dated. We take a lot of actions to improve this. We modernize our trains and replace the older one (M7-type is on his way). Beside of that, we build new workplaces where we can maintain the trains more efficiently. ^Lotte

@sncb Serious question from #ic2105: Why do you run old, loud, filthy, uncomfy, quite expensive, no power/wifi/AC, slow, and nearly no direct trains between Brussels & Luxembourg? It's 2019, if we want to fight climate change we have to rely on an existing public traffic supply.

I’m currently in Canada - where pork being free from antibiotics and hormones is a selling point This is your friendly reminder that British raised meat is always antibiotic and hormone free, and that hormones are never used in UK meat production

@GarethBarlow Nonsense and #fakenews, @GarethBarlow Hormones are prohibited for pork and poultry in Canada. Antibiotics are used to treat sick animals, as they are in the UK (on sharp increase post Brexit), but all meat sold in Canada is free of antibiotic residue.

It was my pleasure to host a delegation from Luxembourg Customs & His Majesty’s Revenue & Customs last night to discuss successful joint working. This strong relationship is yielding real results in both Luxembourg & the UK, helping to protect revenues for our citizens @HMRCgovuk

@FleurThomasFCDO Great. 3 observations: 1) Brexit is a disaster for financial services (and almost every other industry) 2) Switzerland has a long list of bilateral agreements with the EU, UK has none 3) the UK is no Switzerland, whatever low tax/high wage fantasy HM Government conjures.

Met with my new Swiss colleague today H.E. Markus Börlin. Good discussion about our countries being friends of the E.U. and European financial centres sharing good relationships with Luxembourg.
