The most likely outcome is that the Supreme Court of Virginia strikes the Virginia Gerrymandering referendum down. Not because of politics, and not because of the vote itself, but because Virginia’s high court has a long history of treating constitutional process as binding, not advisory.

I dont doubt there are charltons out there using a church to shake down people for cash. And maybe imaging all Protestant churches do that is not what you meant. But that discussion was a list of things Protestants get wrong about Catholics. Your response was Protestant pastors are there to seill their books. The non-denominational church I attend, and all the others I visit don't ever ask for money, don't pass the plate and don't even .mention it in the bulletin. There is a box in the back ypu can put money in. If you didn't know what it was for you would not know money was given.

Whenever a non-Catholic comes with me to Mass they are almost universally surprised by two things, particularly if they have very negative opinions of Catholicism. 1. How much scripture there is. Aside from the readings so much of the text of the liturgy quotes scripture. 2. How much the mass is centered on Christ. Often times they expect Catholic worship to be focused on Mary and the Saints. They are often shocked at the focus on worship of Jesus Christ.

@jdskyles Go to a non-denominational church, and the pastor will make you buy all his books on his interpretation of the Bible and discuss them at great length for 8 hours on a Sunday.

Once again, evangelicals are the left’s last hurdle, preventing the United States from turning in to so many European countries that have fallen to mass immigration. Whether abortion, marriage, or transgenderism, or this, we are the last firewall. So remember that before you dismiss us.

Is it just me? It seems like Byron is just listing all of DeSantis' opinions and claiming they are his with no evidence he ever held those before today. If he would just say he was a woke liberal there is plenty of evidence for that.
