During budget development for school system, county, we ask students, parents, staff & community to unite and advocate for better county funding for education for Wicomico Schools. Please help ensure that our students receive the local funding they deserve. #DoBetterWicomico

Wicomico County's funding for education is lower in 2025 than it was in 2010, with a decrease of over $40 per pupil. When adjusted for inflation, this decrease is even more significant, amounting to $1,729 less per pupil, or nearly $26 million less per year. #DoBetterWicomico

The Wicomico Board of Education meets 7pm Tues Jan 9 at 101 Long Ave., Salisbury. Online pre-registration for public comments open until 7pm Mon Jan 8: board_public_comments.wcboe.org. Pre-registration is also offered in the hour before the Board meeting at the meeting site.
