@KarineGHG What Bergevin said in Nov is accurate even today unless Harris signs. Can’t force the kid to sign a contract. I have no idea if he’s more likely to sign because Hughes is GM now instead of MB. And unless Harris signs then publicly states it’s because of Hughes we will never know

Everything that could have gone wrong for the Habs this year did go wrong, and so in only a bit more than 8 months they went from losing in the SCF to being eliminated from the playoffs.
But the leadership and coach now want to build a contender, not white-knuckle their...

@CheeringTheLogo I’m not really sure of my list but I see lots of change, a new core and a continuous regeneration of this team. Time will tell. Turning a team over used to take a long time but that process will either speed up or become continuous.

Would both Petry and the Habs benefit from a visit home? Yes, I get the team would like to see him end strong and maybe boost his value. But maybe letting him heal a bit with his wife and kids and returning on April 10 for the last 10 games would serve all well. #Habs
