I welcome the news that the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has lost her appeal and failed to block the legal challenge to the proscription of Palestine Action. The Judicial Review will now go ahead on 25-27 November, with two additional grounds to challenge the ban’s legality. This is a huge win for civil liberties and our right to protest. We must continue to defend our rights against Keir Starmer’s authoritarian Labour government.

@davidwhite020 David I fully agree. My generation produced the best music including Neil Young. Those musicians who are masters of their instruments such as Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler or Elton John are ok. But unfortunately the human voice is fragile and it doesn’t sound great with age.

There’s quite a lot of ageism in some comments about Neil Young at #Glastonbury2025. He’s an outstanding musician who’s performing some great music.
