The departure of Dylan Williams doesn’t come as huge surprise to me. Minutes limited, and never really able to nail down a regular spot in the side. A good prospect, and should he succeed north of the border, I hope we have a clause to earn a bit extra. Good luck Dylan! #BAFC

Everyone at Burton Albion was saddened to hear of the passing of former player Steve Dolby (1957-2026). In total, he made 318 appearances for Albion, still one of the highest tallies in club history. We will pay tribute to his life and career here with a minute's applause before Wednesday night's game against Birmingham City.

@CheBAFC17 @bafcjames2 @wagwho I think it’s harsh to judge either on their time with us so far, given that Matthews-Lewis has had two 45 minutes with a bunch of academy players around him & Dennis has played up front with Scutt, who with all respect won’t be the starting CF come August. Both deserve a chance.

Don’t mind that one bit. Radulovic is the sort of striker we are in need of to complete our front line. In respect of Shade, we’ve got the replacements in the door already, and selling him keeps that conveyor belt rolling on #BAFC

@JackBAFC Yeah for me I think we need an experienced back up for Addai, at least one CB, WB, one, maybe two midfielders (if Webster departs), and that all important Beesley replacement. Business has been smart both ways so far, just about bulking out the quality now

@davidwt1997 with regards to starting players, we are probably only a centre half and maybe a central midfielder away. crying out for depth in virtually all positions though, got no real depth at wing back (williams definitely more of a midfielder) , probably need another creative mid and CF

It’s been a couple of weeks, and we’ve seen most of the squad a couple of times now, but here is the current squad as of this evening. Think we are in a Burrell situation with Shade (might be wrong), but odd he hasn’t featured yet if he is training. 5-6 away I think. #BAFC

Gbemi adds another exciting face into the frontline, and while I feel that Tyrese Shade will still depart this summer, the signings of Dennis and Arubi give me some confidence that we are already as strong in that position. Welcome to the Brewers, Gbemi!

I still feel we are a Beesley replacement away from a completed front-line, and the length of contract for Arubi allows for patience in his development. There is no doubt the Irish frontman is an exciting prospect, and we’ve done extremely well to win the race for his signature.
