ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਲੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਵਤਾ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਿਸਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਚਾਹੇ ਉਹ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਵਰਗੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੌਰ ਹੋਵੇ , ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਨੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਡਟ ਕੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।ਇਸੇ ਤਰਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਉਦੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ 'ਸਰਬੱਤ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ' ਦੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖੀ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬੰਗਲਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪਰਿਕਰਮਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਭੇਂਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਹੈ।

Govt should listen our grieviences

अस्पतालों, बीमा कंपनियों और TPA के “कुचक्र” में मरीजों को परेशान होना पड़ रहा है। इसी गंभीर विषय पर मैंने केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री श्री जेपी नड्डा जी को पत्र लिखकर तत्काल हस्तक्षेप का आग्रह किया है। बार-बार अस्पताल से छुट्टी के बाद भी मरीजों को घंटों रोके रखना, बीमा क्लेम में अनावश्यक देरी करना और दस्तावेजों के नाम पर परिवारों को परेशान करना पूरी तरह अस्वीकार्य है। मरीज और उनके परिजन इलाज के समय पहले ही मानसिक और आर्थिक दबाव में होते हैं। ऐसे में बीमा सुविधा राहत का माध्यम बननी चाहिए, परेशानी का कारण नहीं। सरकार से मेरा आग्रह है कि इस पूरी व्यवस्था की समीक्षा कर स्पष्ट और समयबद्ध नियम बनाए जाएं, ताकि मरीजों को समय पर राहत मिले और किसी भी प्रकार की मनमानी पर रोक लगे।
