Exciting News from Calico House! We’re pleased to share that Calico House has been officially approved to transition from a respite service to a long-term care home. From 3rd March 2025, we will provide dedicated, person-led support for adults with complex care needs, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities in a stable, nurturing environment. Our final day offering respite care will be 2nd March 2025 as we prepare for this transition. @poloccricket So shocked by this, for so much of my childhood in the sixties I spent long summer’s days at beautiful Shawholm. A real haven in the city. Difficult to comprehend that it will be dissolved and no longer be. Such a great club now with a wide ethnic community, really sad!
